BREATHWORK FACILITATOR TRAINING
with Bree VanZutphen
Breathwork 20 Hour Training Overview
This 20-hour training will offer an immersive exploration of the healing power of the breath. We will explore a variety of modalities, including down-regulating (parasympathetic) techniques to support integration, restoration, and nervous system balance, Kundalini pranayama activation practices to work with titrated sympathetic activation and build resilience, and high-ventilation breathwork for deeper processing and subconscious re-patterning.
This training weaves together teachings from multiple lineages, offering both experiential practice and an understanding of the function and impact of the breath, including prana from a yogic lineage perspective as well as contemporary insights into the nervous system, subconscious patterns, and embodied regulation. It also explores how to use and share the breath in a way that deepens relationship with ourselves and life.
“Bree is a gifted and grounded teacher. Her breathwork training was a perfect balance of theory, practice, and hands-on guidance. I left feeling confident in using what I learned—both personally and in my teaching. I now integrate breathwork into yoga classes that I instruct and lean on it during challenging emotional moments. I highly recommend this training to anyone looking to deepen their relationship with the breath. ”

This Training Is For:
Health Practitioners
Therapists
Healers
Yoga Teachers
Students
Coaches
Anyone looking to deepen their own practice and/or offer breathwork as a healing modality
What You’ll Step Into:
Students will learn to facilitate 1:1 sessions, group experiences, and deepen their own personal practice. This includes developing the skills to confidently guide breathwork journeys in both individual and group settings, hold space with clarity and presence, and adapt techniques based on client needs, nervous system states, and experience levels. Participants will also be supported in refining their own embodied practice, building confidence in facilitation, and cultivating the sensitivity required to support safe, grounded, and transformative breathwork experiences.
This training offers 20 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours for current yoga teachers.
Techniques We Will Explore:
Parasympathetic and down-regulating techniques to support restoration and balance within the nervous system. These practices help establish a stronger baseline of regulation, fostering stabilization, grounding, and greater capacity for regulation and ease.
Activating Kundalini pranayama practices to build resilience through working with sympathetic activation, training the mind-body system, and supporting the release of reactive or held energy. These practices also expand the window of tolerance, allowing greater flexibility between activation and regulation.
High-ventilation practices to support emotional processing, reprogram subconscious patterns, and open pathways to creativity, clarity, and connection to source. These practices can facilitate deep somatic release and bring unconscious material into awareness, allowing for integration through the body. .
“Every breath is an invitation to cultivate a deeper relationship with life itself ”

"It is not easy to put into words how breathwork with Bree has legitimately transformed my life, because the transformation happens at an embodied level that words can really only vaguely describe. As someone who has been in talk therapy for many years and loves learning about how her own mind works, breathwork was the missing piece that has allowed me to actually process and integrate and actualize. Breathwork can feel super awkward and uncomfortable at first, but Bree makes it feel intuitive and empowering basically immediately. The confidence, ease, and reverence she brings as a guide in her sessions are also what make this training feel so special. She goes above and beyond the techniques into how to cultivate a relationship to the breath. Her warm energy, genuine enthusiasm, and thorough knowledge made the training a truly joyful and inspiring experience. I came out of our time together feeling more deeply connected to myself and my practice and equipped to support others to do the same, inclusive of everything from logistical details to creating an atmosphere of safety. Cannot recommend enough!"

“I had a wonderful experience in Bree's breathwork facilitator training. Bree drew from multiple breathwork modalities to create a comprehensive course that spanned nervous system regulation, kundalini practices, and the active three-part breath. Bree created a welcoming environment that encouraged me to trust myself while embracing something entirely new. She demonstrated her own facilitation style, showing us how to hold clients with warm confidence and create that same sense of safety. I left this training with a solid foundation of techniques and knowledge about breathwork facilitation. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in deepening their practice and learning to guide others in breathwork.”
