Breathwork 20 Hour Online Training Overview

This 20 hour training will involve an immersive exploration of the healing power of the breath. We will explore a variety of modalities including high-ventilation techniques, kriya yoga pranayama techniques, and nervous system regulation practices. This will be a training that incorporates multiple modalities across different lineages and gives some backing to the purpose of the breath and how to use it or share it with others to create a deeper relationship with ourselves and life. Students will learn to facilitate 1-1 sessions, group experiences, and deepen their own personal practice. This training offers 20 Yoga Alliance Continuing Education hours to current yoga teachers.

  • Practitioners looking to use breath as a way of resourcing, regulating, and grounding

We Will Touch On

Traditional pranayama techniques to support the parasympathetic nervous system, fostering stabilization and grounding.

Activating kundalini pranayama practices to build resilience by training and reprogramming the mind and body, strengthening the sympathetic nervous system, and discharging reactive or unstable energy.

High-ventilation techniques to support emotional processing, reprogram subconscious patterns, and open pathways to creativity, clarity, and connection to source.

Additional areas we will explore:

  • How to utilize the breath to cleanse and purify the body, along with releasing mental and emotional impressions that no longer serve.

  • Lectures on the subconscious and conscious mind, neuroplasticity, the 10-body system, chakras, and prana from the yoga lineage.

  • Contexts in which different modalities can be applied, recognizing responses to the breath, and understanding contraindications.

  • How to facilitate both 1:1 sessions and small groups.

  • Practice teaching with integrative feedback and guided homework exercises throughout the training.

Training Details

  • The training will be held online via Zoom over two weekends

  • In addition to the two weekends, there will be a final two-hour meeting scheduled based on group availability.

  • There will be homework throughout and a group messaging thread to stay connected and be supported by the energy of the other practitioners/facilitators

  • Practice sessions throughout the training will be happening via breakout rooms on Zoom as well as in person

  • Students will be required to have a minimum of 15 hours of practice teaching time outside of the 20 hour module.

  • Students will have access to messaging Bree via email/messaging for questions that come up throughout the training

  • Students will be able to come to all classes/workshops facilitated by Bree throughout October

* A final two-hour in-person meeting will be scheduled (date TBD) based on group availability. For those unable to attend the final meeting in person, an alternative two-hour Zoom session will be offered.

Tuition/Payment Plan Options

  • The cost of this training is $1,111. 
  • Training is limited to 13 participants in order to keep the integrity of the container.
